Mr. McGregor is a mining geologist who conducted independent exploration in Alaska during the 1960s and 1970s until the passage of the Alaska Lands Bill in 1980, at which time his holdings were enclosed within the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Thereafter, he turned his interest to zeolites, unique, volcanically derived minerals with important environmental applications in the fields of nuclear contamination removal, culinary water purification, ammonia removal from animal wastes to improve animal health and enhanced recovery of methane from biogas. |
